DIY Off shoulder Top

So I have this stripes top which I don't wanna give away even if it can't fit me anymore. I revamped it and viola! New top! =)

Materials:

1. Old long sleeves
2. Scissors
3. Needle and thread
4. beads and ribbons

*please ignore the picture below the needle and thread. It was a mistake that i put it there.

What to do:

1. Lay the long sleeves out.
2. Cut the collar from one sleeve's end to another to expand it, but make sure you'll not cut the sleeves.
3. Cut the right or the left sleeve. You can cut it in whatever length you desire, left or right. Remember: just ONE sleeve. It'll be the off-shoulder sleeve. Here, i cut the left sleeve at about 1/2 of the original sleeve length.
4. Make the strap. From the sleeve that you just removed, cut a strip long enough for the strap. Next, position it for about 2 1/2 inches from the sleeve's end then saw. I tried the top so I can get the exact measure of the strap. you can do that too. ;)
5. Add some embellishments to give your top a newer look. Here, i saw a bow and a bead in the strap.
6. Lastly, cut the bottom of the long sleeves. i cut mine like an arc so i can have a hanging top.

There you go! Just six easy steps and you're ready to rock it down the streets! :"">
